Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I use the MolecularMD-provided specimen collection kit for testing at other laboratories? No, please discard any MolecularMD-provided specimen collection kits and contact your laboratory of choice to obtain new collection kits. For urgent testing needs, kits can be ordered from MolecularMD through February 19, 2019; we cannot accept kit orders after that date.
If a sample is currently en route to MolecularMD, will MolecularMD still test and report results? Physician-ordered BCR-ABL analysis will occur for samples received on or before March 6, 2019 at our Portland, OR laboratory. Specimens received at MolecularMD after March 6, 2019 cannot be tested or transferred to another laboratory due to stability concerns.
